Best Damn Teatime - Everything you need for the perfect cup o' tea

Do you love tea? Would you consider yourself a tea enthusiast? We love tea around our house - green tea, black tea, herbal tea, iced tea. Here are a few teatime essentials, even if you don't consider yourself a tea snob.

This teapot by BELLA, shown here in Silver Tile, is a home essential for us. This teapot has superior boil time so you can quickly have hot water for coffee, tea, oatmeal, or whatever your need. It is so stylish that it stays on my countertop. And it's a good thing we can leave it out because we use it 2-3 times per day!

One Amazon reviewer had this to say;

“Exceeds my expectations, Still very happy after one year.”

If you prefer a different style, check out the timeless Copper Chrome, funky Blue Aztec, classic Black Floral, or classy White Marble.

Tea Snob Mug

Ok - so I can't call this an essential but I can think of three people I want to buy this mug for and one of them is me! This is a vacuum insulated mug that comes with a press - fit lid but the real reason I want it is.......Tea Snob here!! It's just cute, that's all. This, along with some tea, would be a really great gift for someone that considers themselves a "tea snob."

Specialty Loose Leaf Tea

We have a lot of different tea at our house; herbal teas, green and black teas, many different brands of tea bags, and cold brew tea. But there really isn't anything more flavorful than quality loose leaf tea.

One of my favorite types of tea is a flavored green tea. This one in particular is absolutely delicious, Green Pomegranate tea from Art of Tea. The organic green tea is blended with organic raspberries which gives it a little tartness, which I love. I've tried several other flavors, like the White Coconut Creme Tea (YUM), and I have never been disappointed in the quality or freshness.

Tea Infuser

If you opt for loose leaf tea then you will need a tea infuser. I like this one because it has an extra fine mesh container which will trap the leaves so you aren't left with floating leaves in your tea.

Glass Teapot with Infuser

If you need to make more than one cup of tea this glass teapot is a great option. The tea strainer is removable and the teapot itself if microwavable and stovetop safe. Plus, it's just classy looking.

Tea Bags

If you prefer tea bags, I would recommend these dessert teas. The Vanilla Bean Macaron is DELISH and my husband loves the lemon loaf!

Art of Tea has a wide variety of teabag satchets like matcha, chai, earl grey creme, and Egyptian chamomile, to name a few. I love the intense flavor and blends of these tea satchets.

A Whistling Tea Kettle

I love my Bella Electric Tea Pot but the sound of a whistling kettle brings back memories of my childhood. My mom "wouldn't dream of having an electric one!" What a tea snob. Anyway, if you must have a whistling tea kettle, here are a couple that have really good reviews and are quite pretty.

This handsome fella has over 1,200 reviews on Amazon. And according to the SUSTEAS company it has the "Perfect Whistling Sound."

Oooooo, la, la. This fade grey whistling tea kettle is mighty nice. It is enamel on steel and comes in eleven different colors but I'm keen on this fade grey color.

When I Need a Jumpstart

When I’m feeling tired or under the weather I turn to this Super Green Immunity Tea with a little organic honey. It is my go to for mornings when I need a pick-me-up or an immunity boost. Here is my Bella teapot, favorite mug, and my immunity tea.

A Nice Big Mug

One of my most comforting moments is drinking a hot beverage from a big mug. My favorite mug (pictured above) is a handmade clay mug that I bought in Durango, CO years ago but I have several that I use that are close seconds. Like this one from Clay in Motion.

Travel Tumbler

Unfortunately we have to leave the house (I'm a homebody) so you must have a nice tumbler to take your tea with you as you're dashing out the door. This one from the Art of Tea has tea leaves on it and is quite adorable. Lid and cup are BPA free, which I appreciate.
